I love getting to go out with G just the two of us. Even though we get time "just us" at home after Evie goes down, there's something about getting dressed up, leaving our little lady in someone else's capable hands, and going out alone. We need that connection. That time to just *be*, with no agenda, no distractions, and no responsibilities but being present in that moment with each other.
Tonight, we're doing one of our favorite things: heading out for Oysters & Champagne. We used to run downtown on the Muni all the time in SF to do that, and it's the perfect way to celebrate love and enjoy each other for us.
I'll get more dolled up than this look for tonight (because I can!), but this sweet little top is one of my favorites for spring! I love the 1/2 length bell sleeves, the striping (stripes are going to be bigger than florals this spring!) and the blush. But, my favorite detail of all is the sweet little bow on the back! It's oh-so-precious, sweet, and just a little flirty. Perfect for a casual date.
I paired it with my favorite jeans (seriously. They're so comfy, reasonably priced, perfectly distressed... I wear them every day... in fact, I literally wore them every day this week! ha!) and some simple strapy sandals. The block heel makes them easy to run around in, and they come in so many fun colors!
