Thank you to Restricted Footwear for sponsoring this post. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
With Thanksgiving just a handful of days away (okay, a few weeks, but doesn't it feel like it's tomorrow?!) I thought it was time to share what I'm wearing for Thanksgiving along with my tips for effortless holiday style. I've partnered with Restricted Footwear again (see my previous post on adding color to your neutral wardrobe here) to share what I look for when it comes to easy comfort during the holidays.

1) ADD SHINE & SHIMMER
If there's one time of year that sparkle, shine, and shimmer is a-okay during the daytime, it's the holidays. I love adding soft sheen to my everyday look through fabrics like velvet, silk, and satin. My sweater is the softest chenelle velvet, and my shoes are a shimmery velvet too!
2) ITS ALL IN THE DETAILS
One of the reasons I loved the Geisha is the embroidery and stud detailing. It adds such a luxe feel to the shoe, and so much interest. I choose the taupe because I'm a neutrals girl all the way, but they have some beautiful jewel tones too, like this rich mauve color or this deep blue.
3) COMFORT IS KEY
I do not want to be suffering through a meal, fidgeting through coffee, or shifting through gift opening. I want to feel like I'm in my pajamas, but look oh so much fancier. That's why this look features stretchy jeans, a soft sweater, and these flats - the leather interior is so soft, and the padding is surprisingly squishy. I can stand all day, and chase Evie for hours, in these flats and still be comfortable.
