Time. It's amazing how little of it each day seems to have now that I've got Evie. Time to shop. Time to blog. Time to spend with G. Time to invest in Evie. Time to catch-up with a girl friend. Time to just veg. Time to workout. There are just so many things and so little time.

It's made me think a lot about what G and I call "opportunity cost". In a nutshell, everything costs you time or money. The question is, which are you going to invest?

The perfectionist in me says "I'll find a way to do it all!" - but the realist in me knows that, while I could do that, it would mean giving less than what each thing deserves, ending in guilt, exhaustion, and frustration.

The answer is going to be different for everyone, but for me, my time belongs first to G, then to Evie, then to other important relationships. Scattered in between is a little of everything else, but nothing else has the same level of commitment as my relationships.

That's one of the reasons I continue to invest in S&C, actually. My relationships with all of you! You're valuable to me - the ways you allow me to pour into your lives mean so much! And so often you all bless me, too. So thank you!

And, on a lighter note, how perfect is this satin top for the holidays? I love the detailing on the sleeves, especially. It takes it from simple to stunning in seconds! I paired it with my favorite high-waisted denim (a bit of an investment, but currently 33% off and I wear them so much that they've totally been worth the price - see how I've styled them here, here, here and here).

Finally, I have a few fun, holiday perfect accessories from Fossil! This patchwork crossbody is large enough to hold everything but small enough to be unobtrusive, and I love the rose gold and blush combo of this simple watch.

I hope you're enjoying the Holiday Season! It's my favorite time of the year.
