STYLE | LINEN SHIFT DRESS 5 WAYS

I love adding pieces to my wardrobe that expand what I already have. What I mean by that is I like to add something that, by adding it, I get TONS of new outfits. This little linen shift dress did just that. I picked it for a few reasons:
First, I love linen. It's lightweight, which is perfect for our warm springs and summers here in So Cal, and linen always reads as expensive (no matter how affordable it was! This little number was only $35!).
Second, linen is so versatile. It works for every day wear, dressed up, and even on vacation (who doesn't want linen when you're traveling?!).
Third, the length. I love that it's not a midi dress (I have so many of those), but it also isn't a mini. I have enough coverage for my daily activities (hello chasing a three year old) while still showing some leg ;)
Finally, it's black (but it comes in a gorgeous rust color, too). I know, I know, I know. I have so much black in my closet already. But let's be honest: that's what makes it so versatile. It pairs with ALL my accessories.
If you visit my IG stories, you can see this dress in action (@simplicityandcoffee under the "Style" highlight), or keep on scrolling to see five ways I styled it!

A quick sizing note: I got my usual size (xxs) in this dress, and it fits perfectly - but it is almost (not quite, but almost) too snug on my hips. If you have wider hips, I would size up.
If you snag this dress, let me see! Snap a photo and tag me on IG. I'd love to re-share your looks on my stories!
