STYLE | ADDING COLOR TO YOUR NEUTRAL WARDROBE

Thanks to Restricted Shoes for sponsoring this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

My wardrobe is almost entirely black. Okay, that's not true anymore. It's black with four pairs of white shoes ;-) But in all seriousness, you guys know that I don't purchase a lot of color for my wardrobe in the form of clothing. Almost everything hanging in my closet is white, grey, black, or blush. Unless you look at my accessories - those range from neon pink to yellow to red and everything in between. I love to add a pop of color to an otherwise neutral look through my handbag or shoes. It creates instant interest, and provides a level of playful sophistication that can't be achieved any other way.

As I mentioned in my post last Thursday, my go-to shoe right now is a statement flat that's easy to slip in and out of, so when I saw these fun flats with their not-too-loud orange shade, I knew I had found my pop of color for the season.

This is my first pair of Restricted shoes, and I am loving them. They have squishy soles (so important for comfort when you've got a flat on), hug my feet without being too tight, and add that much needed pop of brightness for spring & summer style.

My top tip for adding color to your neutral wardrobe? Pick a color that plays well with your closet and add 1-2 pieces in that shade - they can be shoes, a small statement handbag, a scarf, or even some really playful sunnies! Then mix and match them into an otherwise completely neutral look for a fun pop that is playful without becoming not-you!

Restricted has so many fun flats, sandals, and open-toe booties right now! If you'd like to search for your new seasonal pop of color with them, just use discount code SIMPLICITYANDCOFFEE25 for 25% off all regular priced styles! Happy shopping!!
