FALL FASHION | COZY SWEATERS

On Evie - Onesie: Jumping Beans | Pants: Jumping Beans | Shoes: c/o Freshly Picked

This year, I just can't help it. Historically, I've tried to wait for Christmas until after Thanksgiving. Because I really do love Fall & Thanksgiving. The cozy day of cooking and enjoying family and friends is one of my favorites. But I never decorate for it. I wait to make my home merry & bright until November 29th. But not this year.

It's our first year with Evie (gah! having a daughter makes the holidays even more amazing), and our first year staying in our own home, and I just can't wait for it to be holiday cozy. So I'm embracing the "Holiday Season" and decorating this week! Our outside lights went up yesterday, and they're amazing (you can see them on my Instagram Story).

And while it's not quite cool enough to wear sweaters in Houston yet, we are heading to Buffalo, NY for Thanksgiving to be with G's family, so I've been loading up on the cozy sweaters, like this forest green one from Express.

On Me - Sweater: Express | Jeans: Express | Shoes: Steve Madden | Bag: Coach | Sunnies: Le Spec

My favorite thing about this sweater (aside from the chunky V neck... give me a V neck over something that feels like it's choking me any day!) is the tie-up front slits. Aren't they just darling? It's the perfect way to add interest to a standard cable-knit.

The tunic length makes it perfect for crisp days out or snuggly days in, and comes in a dusty rose pink, too.

A few sizing notes: this sweater runs TTS - I'm in an xs - and fits loose without being baggy. I LOVE it. Jeans are also TTS (I'm in a 0), and are so soft and stretchy! My booties run TTS (6.5) and are crazy comfy for having such a tall heel (and at less than $70, they're quite the steal!).
