FALL TRENDS: COZY CARDI & SOCK BOOTIES

I'm not going to lie - there are several Fall trends that I just can't get behind (I'm looking at you, embroidered jeans from the 90's), but there are a few I just love. One of the trends that tried to get it's start last year but didn't really get going until now is the Sock Bootie, and I love this trend!

I picked mine up last year, and have had some time to play with styling them as a result. They're a super-cute addition to a bodycon dress (see how I styled that look here), and are fun to pair with skinny jeans (it keeps the whole silhouette sleek and chic!), but I think my favorite way to style them is with some rolled-up boyfriend jeans and a cozy cardi.

I snagged all these pieces at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale a few months ago, and some of them have come back in stock since! In Houston, it doesn't get cold enough to wear a cardigan very often (boo!), but this one was so soft and flattering I had to pick it up anyway. It isn't in stock as I write this post, but it's come back a few times, so I'll update if it does! In the mean time, I've heard amazing things about this one from Barefoot Dreams.

My jeans are currently my favorite pair that I own, and right now they're 40% off (making them come in at under $140!). For designer denim, that's a steal! And this pair is so comfy and soft that they're worth every penny.

I know what's really catching your eye is my accessories, and TBH, that's where most of my $$ go when I shop for a few reasons: 1) they always fit 2) they last forever when taken care of correctly, and 3) they can instantly elevate and make any outfit exceptional.

I historically haven't been into statement earrings... I usually pick some simple studs, and my almost every day go-to are just tiny diamonds.... but I am really loving metallics as statement neutrals, and couldn't help but snag a few pairs from BaubleBar. These rose gold fringe earrings add statement sophistication to any look, and they're surprisingly light weight.

I also have to mention my bag: The Coach Rogue. They don't sell this suede model any longer (sad day!), but the leather model (which I also own!) comes in so many wonderful fall shades. I love the lines on this bag. She is luxurious, in look and feel.

My sunnies are Le Spec, and (surprisingly!) one of the least expensive pairs I own! They look like they cost way more than their under $50 price tag, and a simple silver mirror lens is always a good idea.
