I get so excited for this sale every year!! I stayed up late last night to have this post ready for y'all (seriously! I sacrificed sleep while the baby was asleep! #yourwelcome). In all seriousness, this is my favorite Nordstrom Sale because it's the one time each year that they put the new collection on sale! That's right. This isn't the clear-out from the previous season. This is the brand-new merchandise at discounted prices. I love getting ready for the Fall, and snagging a few designer favorites at great mark-downs (I mean, who doesn't want to have the "it" item at the beginning of the season?!). So, without further ado, here are my top picks:
THE ACCESSORIES
It looks like metallics are the new neutral for this season, and I'm not mad at it! I love how dramatic the earrings are, and can't wait to try adding them to my looks for that slightly edgy vibe I love in the layering seasons! I also scanned ALL the bags and sunnies (you know how I am about my accessories!) and (not surprisingly) my favorite sunnies are these Burberry shades, while my favorite bag is Sole Society! I'm also debating bringing home this gorgeous Tory Burch wrap watch, since I don't have one like this yet. Hop on Instastories today and help me decide! (@simplicityandcoffee)
THE SHOES
Hello Darkenss my old friend ;-) Okay, but in all seriousness, I can't help but LOVE black, and you can bet 2-3 shoes in that color will make their way home with me. I'm not ready to transition entirely into dark colors though, so I'm really loving the blush and white options from Nike, and even those embellished mules from Kate Spade! Also (excitement over here!) I am looking at splurging on my FIRST PAIR of Stuart Weitzman boots (the No. 10 splurge). But I'm also going to try on the Marc Fischer pair (No. 9) just to see what I think.
