I get so excited for this sale every year! It took me a year (or two!) to figure out how to really rock this sale and get the most out of it, so today I'm sharing my top three tips for shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.

First, let me tell you why I get SO EXCITED about this sale: It's the only time each year that Nordstrom is putting the NEW STUFF on sale! That's right - Fall 2017 is coming out and it's on clearance. I use this time to see what the trends are going to be, pick out (and pick up!) my must-have pieces and purchase some timeless accessories (hello designer bags and shoes) at a much more reasonable price point.
Now that the stage is set, here are my top three tips for shopping the sale!
1. GET A NORDSTROM CARD
This is the best thing you can do to prep for this sale, since many items sell out early (i.e. before public access). It not only gives you early access (apply now to get approved before July 9th!), you also get a $20 Nordstrom Note to spend at the sale! The card allows you to earn Nordstrom Notes in the future, too, so double win! You can apply for a credit card or a debit card (I have the debit myself), which is a great feature. Don't want a card? No problem! You can also sign up just for Nordstrom Rewards and get a $10 note to shop the sale when it opens to the public on July 21st.
2. CHECK OUT THE CATALOGUE
Did you know that Nordstrom releases a sneak peek catalogue in the week leading up to the sale? You can find the 2017 issue here. I've already flipped through it and made notes of my must-haves, including some Marc Fischer boots, these amazing split-hem jeans from Frame, and, what I'm predicting will be Fall's version of the Tassel earring!
3. BOOK AN APPOINTMENT
Last tip: Book an appointment with a stylist for early on the first day of the sale! It's amazing how helpful it can be to have someone who knows the sale, can pull styles, and set-up your dressing room. It's seriously shopping on a whole new level, and you'll thank me once you experience it for yourself!
