One of my favorite things about fall is the layers! I love the way textures, tones, and silhouettes play together to create some of the most interesting outfits of the year.

I'm especially loving pieces that have lots of texture within themselves this year, like this cardigan from PoshSquare and these booties from Coach. They pair so well with my basics, and add instant interest.

I paired these two statement items with my current favorite jeans from Express, and a basic black v-neck.

To polish off the look, I accessorized using my oversized Beth Clutch from Louise & Eleanor (see it here and here), my Pandora wrap charm bracelet (a honeymoon gift from G), a fedora and a pair of my favorite sunnies.

While it's not cold enough in Houston to wear this look yet, I'm looking forward to packing it for our trip to Ohio at the end of the month!
