TIME TO TELL...

G and I have been keeping something under-wraps for the past few months. I've hinted at it some, and it even essentially turned me into a ghost during the entire month of September (sorry for the lack of content!). It's been good, it's been tough, and it's been hard to wait to tell you, but since I'm starting to show, it's finally time to tell....

On me: T-Shirt: c/o ILY Couture | Jeans: Express | Shoes: Dolce Vita
On G: Jeans: Banana Republic | T-shirt: Public Opinion | Shoes: Banana Republic
I'm so excited to finally share this news! It feels amazing to have it out in the open and be able to talk about it freely. We waited to share until the 2nd trimester "just to be safe", because I know from experience that miscarriages are so much more common than people think. And while I know that reaching the second trimester in no way "guarantees" my baby will be safe (heck, birth doesn't guarantee that!), it feels so much better to be sharing this after making it to the point where I have a summersaulting, finger-wiggling, heart-beating baby the size of a lemon (can you believe that!?).

I've always dreamed of some day doing my pregnancy announcement wearing the ILY Couture "Preggers" tee, and was thrilled when they agreed to send it my way for this post! It is so soft, and made of quality cotton. I love the feel of it. I'm wearing a size small, which fits loosely right now, but I'm sure will be snug and accompanied by a pregnancy tank by the end of trimester no. 2!

G and I are thrilled to be growing our little family (it's the reason we bought such a big place when we moved to Texas!) and I'm thrilled to share all the new lifestyle, faith, and fashion posts that will come from this! Now, don't worry, Reader, I won't become a mommy blogger (more about that on Friday!) but I will be sharing bump fashion while I have a pump to dress! I've been buying fall and winter pieces that will accommodate my growing bump, and that look cute now (while the only one who notices my bump is me!) and later (when EVERYONE will feel like they have the right to touch my belly!).

Thanks for being part of my circle, Reader! I can't wait to share the rest of this journey with you1
