THE ESPADRILLE

One of my favorite shoes in college was the wedge espadrille. I must've owned 6 different pairs! Since then, many of them have found their way into the donate pile, or been worn beyond further repair, but I still have two pairs of Tommy Hilfiger espadrilles that I can't stop wearing! You can only imagine my excitement, Reader, when they came back in a big way this summer and I was able to pull them out for this chic look:

The skirt and tank (which I own in two colors so far!) are finds from Trouve that I snatched up during the Nordstrom Semi-Annual Sale last month. But not to worry! They're still in stock. They're true to size, and I'm wearing an xs in both. And I've linked several similar shoes by designers I love (like this almost identical shoe by Soludos!), since this pair is ages (okay, just a decade..haha!) old.
I love how simple, chic, effortless, and feminine this look is. I paired it with my beach bag from Swim N' Sport, which is perfect for holding everything I pick up during my post-brunch errands!
I can also see pairing this tank and these shoes with some shorts for an even more casual look! How would you style your espadrilles?
