4 MUST-HAVE SUNGLASSES

Nothing says summer like the perfect pair of sunnies. While I love clothing, I am patently obsessed with accessories. Shoes, bags, and sunglasses are my J*A*M. I will shop and shop for deals on clothing before I decide on a purchase, knowing in my head I only want to spend $x.xx on an item. For the right handbag, sunglasses, or shoes, cost is no object. I will spend whatever I have to spend to have that item in my closet (much to G's dismay!). I lean towards quality, not quantity, in my staple pieces, and feel free to splurge there. Trend pieces I will go cheaper on and rotate them out as they move out of style or become damaged.

That being said, I have four sunnies on rotation in my closet right now, and I want to share them with you!

SPLURGE:

-NOT-SO-BASIC BLACK

Every girl needs an excellent pair of chic black sunnies she can turn to on a daily basis, and Henri Bendel delivers in a big way with the Broadway Sunnie. Mine are updated with a blue mirror lens and some gold detailing. I love that the frame is matte so it doesn't compete with the gold or the blue. They are my favorite pair to throw on when I want to give my basic black outfit that wow-factor.

- ANYTHING BUT PLAIN NEUTRAL

I rented these Prada sunnies for Cabo, and paid to keep them forever. I love the big statement they make even though they're taupe and black. The oversized, angular frames are an updated nod to a vintage shape, which fits my classic aesthetic with an edge perfectly. These pair with everything, and were worth every penny.

SAVE:

- TREND INSPIRED PIECE

I love this round frame from H&M. The 70's are back in a big way, and a fun round frame with a hint of wing is just the ticket for a chic, retro summer look.

- SILVER MIRROR

I adore the all silver mirrored sunnies, especially the ones Dior has out. But I knew they'd be hard to keep from scratching. I ended up going with this Ray-Ban inspired pair from Walgreens (I know, right?!) for $5, and have been loving the heck out of them. Once they peel a few months from now, I may invest in those Diors, but for now, this was a great save.

What would you put on your splurge list? How about your save?
