The idea that as small women we can't wear big prints is absurd to me! I've been breaking this rule my whole life, and this neutral, big, bold floral has been in my closet for over ten years (I know! I can't believe it either) and one of my other favorite dresses from college had large primary colored flowers too.
Like anything, the trick is to keep things appropriately sized. This dress works because it is short, keeping me from being completely enveloped in print. And, not gonna lie, I'm currently obsessed with my Express shoes, so anything I can wear them with is a win in my book (and I can wear them all day; they're so comfortable! Seriously, go get yourself a pair!)
