VALENTINE'S DAY BRUNCH

I love it when Valentine's Day falls on a weekend. Not only do you have the standard date night options, but all the day-time activities suddenly become possibilities, too! One of my favorites is brunch. While I love the day of Love (especially now that I'm married and have my forever Valentine!), I don't like to do overstated things (neutrals are my wheelhouse!). So instead I give a subtle, sophisticated nod to the Pink and Red theme of the day.

For my brunch look, I pulled out a few of my blush favorites: these Steve Madden LeCrew flats and this Free the People pink and grey bralette.

I love the light pink, suede finish, and feminine lace-up detail on these flats. Not to mention they are the most comfortable pair of flats I own (seriously; I wear them around the house). The bralette is one of my current favorite feminine pieces. I wear it with open-back tops (like the top in this look!), under unbuttoned blouses, and even under a sweatshirt when I'm home and feeling flirty!

Stay tuned through Thursday this week, as I will be sharing outfit inspiration for several more V-day activities, including Galentine's Day with those Express Sparkle Leggings from this post, a fancy date night look where I dress up my favorite new black crop-top, and a night-in, where I will share some of my favorite wine and chocolate pairings, along with the comfiest PJ's!
