I realized I should probably write this post when my bestie asked how I curled my hair during lunch with our three kiddos. Then, when she called me less than an hour later and was like "Okay, I'm standing in front of the Living Proof shelf. What am I getting again?", I realized I needed to write the post now!
Fun little side note: Janell (the blonde to my brunette) is actually the reason I started writing back in 2014! She is always asking me where I got something, what product I use, etc, and finally one day I took her "you should blog about it" seriously, and Simplicity & Coffee was born! Okay, back to the hair...
My hair type is fine, but I have a TON of it. So it can be difficult to find products that don't weight it down but still provide enough hold and volume for the sheer quantity of strands. It was right before I had Evie and was on the hunt for a dry shampoo that I discovered Living Proof. Their PhD Dry Shampoo quickly became my go-to-day-3-of-no-washing addition, and as my hair grew longer I began to explore some of their other product offerings. Now, my entire product set for styling is Living Proof!

Start at the top and curl in around 1" sections
Curl your hair away from your face
Catch the curl before it falls and count to five before releasing it. That extra cooling time helps!
Always curl in a cool, dry room. Warm and/or damp will make it hard for curls to hold

Living Proof Flex Hairspray - Spritz everywhere to hold style all day without being "crispy" (you other 80's babies know what I mean!)
