L'OREAL SUBLIME BRONZE REVIEW

I recently took a trip home to So Cal for a doctor's appointment, and decided to take advantage of the flight down to see my friends and family. I can't tell you how excited I was to get out of my jeans and sweaters (I mean, seriously, San Francisco? Don't you know how much your fog and weather in the 60's is killing my Southern California Beach Girl heart?!) and I jubilantly packed a carry-on consisting of shorts and tank tops.
Unfortunately, my first day there, I realized something. The utter lack of sunshine in San Franciscio, has, in addition to necessitating the addition of Vitamin D pills to my health regime, left me a pasty white that I didn't know my body was physically capable of. I was white. So white that my mom said something! So, I did the only thing I could: Popped into Target to investigate my self-tanning air-travel friendly options.
Normally, I keep a bottle of the Jergen's Natural Glow lotion on hand, but it wasn't worth taking up my precious liquids and gels carry-on space. So I decided to give the L'Oreal Sublime Bronze towelettes a try. They had mostly good reviews (4 out of 5 stars on Ulta.com, and the bad reviews seemed to be from people who didn't know how to properly apply a self-tanner at home), and wouldn't take up any liquid space in my travel bag.
The next morning, after showering and exfoliating, I moisturized by legs and gave myself about 2 minutes for the lotion to absorb/dry. Then I used one towelette to cover both legs, skipping very lightly over my knees and ankles. I let that dry for one minute, then lotioned again. I made sure to wash my hands really thoroughly with soap and water, and waited about 5 more minutes before getting dressed.
I can now say with certaintly that these towelettes are amazing! I have a soft, even bronze glow that looks natural and was inredibly easy. No residual smell, either. These are defintely becoming part of my travel aresenal.
So if you're looking for a quick glow this 4th of July, or for any summer-time travel as a way to mask your lack of sun before that tan sets in, give these a try! Just be sure to exfoliate and moisturize so you get even absorbance, and these will work great!
