Like most women, I love a good spa day. The cucumber water, the soft, instrumental music, the plush towels, and the massage. I am convinced that very little is better in life than a massage that is gentle enough to almost put you to sleep but firm enough to actually work out some of that tension we've been carrying in our shoulders.
I've tried spas everywhere we travel, and while I have had so many good experiences, no experience has topped the Cactus Spa at Sheraton Hacienda del Mar in Cabo.
I always go for the aromatherapy massage, because I love the different moods something as simple as a smell can invoke. I can relax, awaken, energize, or calm all based on the scent I choose. During our stay there earlier this month, I went twice! From the plush towels and soft robes in your private locker to the relaxing outdoor hot tub area, nothing beats an afternoon spent at Cactus Spa.
