While we were in Rome last November, G took me shopping near the Piazza di Spagna. We browsed in and out of several stores, but Zara is where I found my must-have item of the trip. It is a trench style, heavy knit wool sweater coat in shades of grey. It's chic, cozy, and perfect to wear over just about anything. For our trip to Vatican City, I paired it with my favorite grey trapese dress from Express and these OTK Charles David boots that I've been living in most of the winter. My pop of color for the trip, this DVF crossbody seen in last week's Abbey Day post (here), was the perfect finishing touch.
