WEDDING GIFT GUIDE

I love giving gifts. While my love language is quality time, I still find that I can express that through gifts and love showing my friends and family how much I care! That was the inspiration for this gift guide. I thought about several different types of couples in my life, and came up a few ideas of what I would get for them to create experiences together, as a couple. Even though most couples have a registry, this could be a lot of fun if you have some wiggle room! Many of these ideas would be fun for birthday, Christmas, and wedding showers, too! For the Travelers I chose a few of my personal favorites. I love the idea of monogrammed weekender bags and matching "Mr" and "Mrs" luggage tags! I also am currently crushing on this line of travel and organization gear called This Is Ground. Their cord kit is dynamite for keeping everything from becoming hopelessly entangled, and their Travel Mod is amazing and worth every penny! You can customize the inside with insertable/removable panels, so each trip can have a perfectly prepared Travel Mod!

For the Techies, I picked from things my husband and I are currently in love with, but that are still wedding gift priced. I know Bose is the last name in sound, but when it comes to headphones, the silence, comfort and sound quality offered by my Beats is unBeat-able ;-) Gabe recently picked up a Chromecast, and even though we have an AppleTV in the bedroom that I love, I have to admit the Chromecast is pretty ridiculously sweet. And at $35, it's a steal. The final thing is our RH Gramophone. Beautiful sounds with a stylish design, it's not just techie, it's upscale decor techie, and we love it.

For the Entertainers, I chose some of my favorite things to pull out when we have people over. This cheese board is pretty and functional, as is the multi-purpose serving tray. I use them both a lot, even when it's just Gabe and I setting up for a fun weekend just the two of us. We're also big wine drinkers, and this decanter with the wooden stopper is divine. I love the modern shape of the wine glasses I chose to accompany the decanter. Finally, we both grew up on game nights with family and friends, and Bang! is a family friendly classic mix of role-playing and card game. We love it, and I'll bet your newly married friends will love it, too!

Finally, the Romantics. These two just can't wait to cuddle up and be alone after all the crazy-ness of getting married (and who could blame them!?). These are a few of my favorite "let's just snuggle" things. First off, a couple's massage. Nothing relaxes and connects you more than a good spa day. Along that line, how about a wine club membership? Getting free wine sent to your door once a month is a great way to celebrate, relax and hang out with the one you love. The Restoration Hardware Faux Fur line is soft, warm, and beautiful. These throws are my favorite for curling up with. Finally, the Kate Spade "His" "Hers" and "Ours" set is precious, quality, and timelessly romantic.
