If you know G, it's no secret that he L-O-V-E-S the newest tech gear. When we were dating, I remember being in constant awe of how automated his home was. Now that we're married and own a home, we've spent quite a bit of time researching and dreaming about what our smart home would look like. Our box arrived last Wednesday, and we could hardly wait to unpack it and start playing!
The starter kit we've got includes the Hive Active Thermostat, 2 Hive Active Lights, a Hive Active Plug, some Hive window and door sensors, and the most important piece: the Hive Hub.
The Hive Hub is the central piece that integrates your whole home. It plugs in to your broadband router, and through your WiFi, connects everything controlled by a Hive item to a smartphone app.
