This past weekend was a fun whirlwind! As you know, Reader, Gabe and I spent this past weekend in Southern California visiting my family and attending my cousin’s wedding. We had so much fun on the drive there listening to our audio book and spending time together, then spend an amazing Friday night with my parents, my youngest brother, my best girl friend, and her two adorable sons. Lots of laughs, salsa, and steak. Saturday my mom and I got our nails done and spent some time out shopping before getting dressed and heading into Long Beach for the wedding. It was so much fun! I love weddings, and I especially love dancing at weddings! We danced the night away, and then collapsed into bed for some much needed sleep before waking to drive back up the coast to San Francisco. And now, I’m sitting here with my Feist Pandora station playing and a glass of Malbec while I type this up and mentally prepare for the week to come! It’s going to be an exciting week, Reader! I am starting a series on creating the perfect wardrobe for you, and sharing my thoughts on Rent the Runway, among other things! So stay tuned, and Happy Monday!
P.S. As promised, here’s what I wore to the wedding! I went with something between casual and cocktail, since the wedding was evening but outside, and ran with pastels and metallics, keeping everything fresh and spring-y. The shoes are my wedding shoes, which I was so excited to get the chance to wear again. My shirt and skirt are from Express, and the clutch is Gap. The jewelry is all Target, and was purchased for my engagement shoot last April!
