If you've been with me for a while, then you've read my "Building the Perfect Wardrobe" series, and know that the key to creating a closet you love is knowing your 5 words (if you don't already know your five words, visit the post and learn them!! It'll make such a difference as you consider what to add to your closet. For those of you who don't know, my words are:
Structured.
Classic.
Minimal. Elegant.
Slightly Edgy.
Today I want to focus on the word "edgy" and how I added a few pieces that allow me to have a little rock in my otherwise straight-laced world ;-)
When it comes to adding edge. nothing does that faster than a graphic t-shirt. A good graphic tee adds instant interest, elevation and edge to any outfit. My favorite one from the Spring 2019 Capsule is hands down my Feelin' Good tee from Sundry.
The slightly 70's vibe from the typeface, visual magnification of the word "GOOD" and gold stitch detailing down the back all create something that screams elevated rock & roll. Perfect for adding edge to my look.
While not as overtly rock and roll, the other graphic t-shirt in my capsule definitely adds edge. The french writing, bold font, and clean black & white color scheme all work together to add a more sophisticated edge.
