BEST OF SEPTEMBER

It's that time again! Time for my monthly "Best of" series. And, honestly, I've got some more beauty and food coming at you! Because they're my favorite things right now :)
1. RECIPE FOR AN AT-HOME HONEY CINNAMON LATTE
My favorite coffee shop out here, The Meek House, makes a killer Honey Cinnamon latte. But, at close to $5 each time, when we're saving for a house, I needed to stop drinking them 3-4 days a week (seriously. My coffee love runs deep and $$). So, I figured out how to make one myself! Here you go:
Pour 8 oz hot brewed dark roast coffee into a 24 oz cold travel cup
Add 1 TBS honey and 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
Stir until honey is dissolved
Add milk to your liking (I do around 2oz)
Fill with ice and stir again. Add more ice if needed/desired.
YUM.
2. BASIC CROP TEE FROM ALL SAINTS
We have a wonderful Simon Malls outlet near us (in Cabazon, on the way to Palm Springs), and one of my favorite places to shop there is the All Saints store. Not only is the decor gorgeous, but I love the materials & the relaxed but slightly edgy structure each piece has. I recently bought a cream crop tee there (similar to my grey one from this shoot, and what I'm wearing in these pics with the Lexus), and it's quickly become a closet staple. Love love love a good, basic - but interesting silhouette - tee.
3. FRESH BLACK TEA FIRMING CORSET FIRMING CREAM
I had a sample of this, which made my skin look AMAZING, ran out, and my skin went to hell in a hand-basket. The difference was so noticeable that G actually okayed the purchase, which is rare (he hates purchasing any beauty product that costs more than $10!). The Fresh Black Tea Corset Firming Cream is not cheap - it comes in at $95 a jar - but the results are worth the price in my opinion. My skin is toned in more ways than one (read firm & even color), hydrated and fresh feeling without being oily, and the fragrance is crisp, clean and refreshing.
4. UPPABABY MINU
You guys remember we were planning to sell the Mini Cooper? Well, the truth is, when it came down to it, I just wasn't ready to part with my Mini. BUT I can't fit the shopping & the toddler with her gear in my car any more... our solution? A stroller that actually fits in my trunk! We love UppaBaby (started Evie out in the Mesa carseat, and still have/love/use our Cruz) and the Minu is no exception. Easy to use, lightweight, comfortable for Evie, and high-quality luxe materials make it my favorite, though the most pricey, addition of September.
