Oh. Em. Gee. Ten months is ALL kinds of busy! Except for those *cherished* three hours of naps each day, Evie is on the move and making noises. As in, screaming/growling/yelling/shrieking all day, every day, like it's her job. She's the busiest, happiest little lady in the world, and wears me out! But that adorable 8 toothed grin makes it much easier to handle the exhaustion.

On Evie - Onesie: Old Navy | Jeans: Old Navy | Shoes: c/o Freshly Picked

As I type this, I've just arrived home from having my hair done - aka spent a blissful morning of girl talk/me time without Evie - and found Evie in the middle of her afternoon nap. I needed this dedicated, large-ish chunk of Evie free time to recharge. I was a burnt out lady before this, but I'm feeling so much better now! But as Evie gets older, having time to myself - away from her - to recharge becomes more important.

  • Up to 8 teeth! We've gotten one a week this past month.

  • Loves to eat anything Mommy has - current favorites are avocado toast & lemon water

  • Is starting to connect/categorize things. For example, realized the cardinal in our back yard was just like the "Red Bird" in her book, and got very excited when Mommy confirmed it. She also has a little sail boat above her bed, and started touching the picture of the sailboat in a book then looking at the sail boat above her bed.

  • We crawl everywhere, or grab the furniture and cruise around the room standing up that way.

Honestly, our two biggest stand-out items this month are the Skip Hop Duo diaper backpack and her new Freshly Picked moccasins. We always love our FP moccs, and I have to admit, the sweet Pooh Bear pattern on today's featured pair gives me all the feels & tons of nostalgia, and the Valentine's day pair we're sharing on the 12th (or catch them on IG this week!) have the most darling red bottoms - I want some for me!

Now, on to the backpack! Since Evie's arrival, I've used only designer handbag company's versions of diaper bags. And they've been good. Nothing special, but definitely good. I didn't feel the need to have a diaper bag made by a baby company. But, I've been working with Skip Hop for a few months now, and when they reached out to share their Skip Hop Duo Diaper Backpack in melange grey with me, I had to try it. I said yes, honestly, because I loved the color - especially the tan leather detailing. I waited about a week after I got it to use it. And then....

Mind. Blown.

I had no idea that a real diaper bag could be so good. I mean, SO SO GOOD. It's sleek, has all the right pockets in all the right places - it even has a padded pocket for my laptop, and a separate zipper compartment lined in soft material for my purse essentials and cell phone! Combined with the Pronto Changing Station & Dual Bottle Cooler in the same color, I can change Evie anywhere much more easily than when I didn't have this handy little all-in-one station, AND the cooler has (1) an ice pack that actually stays cold/frozen for 8 hours with no trouble (haven't tried it longer yet, but it was still cold and slushy after hour 8!) and holds two bottles, two nipples, two pouches of baby food, puffs, and spare formula!

Sorry for the long-windedness, but seriously! I'm in shock. I had no idea what I was missing. (And, FYI, Skip Hop didn't sponsor this post! I just really, truly, am in love with this bag).

Right now, we're working on a ball pit! We have this set of 250 balls (love the colors!) and I'm on the hunt for a grey inflatable kiddie pool to put them in. I'm eyeing this one and this one. Any suggestions??
