OLAY 28 DAY CHALLENGE

This post is sponsored by Olay. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

As I grow older, skincare becomes more and more important. In my 20's, I essentially just used a bar of face soap and some moisturizer, but now that I'm in my 30's, I realize that maintaining my skin is the key to beauty as my 40's, 50's and 60's approach.

My skin changed so much during my pregnancy that I was switching my products almost monthly to keep the redness, dryness, oil, acne, and whatever else came at me in check. Now that Evie's been here for 6 months, my skin (and hormones!) are settling down and I am ready to find some more permanent solutions. It was at this point that Olay reached out to me and asked if I would take their #Olay28Day Challenge and share the results with you. I've actually used Olay for well over a decade (their Age Defying Classic Night Cream has been what I use nightly since college), and was excited to give their Olay Eyes Ultimate Eye Cream and Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream a try!

I started the 28 Day Challenge on September 23rd. At that point, I was dealing with lots of redness on my cheeks, and puffy purple eyes (#momlife). Here's my Day 1 Image:

No makeup, natural light, .... just me, ready to hit the gym, with my red cheeks and purple eyes in all their unfiltered glory.

Truth be told, I didn't think that much would change. More sleep and less naturally sensitive skin were what I needed, not different skincare. I'd tried several expensive/prestige brands, and still had the redness and under eye circles, so while I was excited to try the Olay, I didn't expect much in the way of results. Then I took this picture two weeks later:

Same window, same time of day, off to the gym... but do you see how much less red my skin is? And how not puffy my eyes are?! I never wear makeup to work out, but I noticed that my makeup routine changed dramatically after 14 days of using Olay. Just two weeks in to the 28 Day Challenge, and I was finding myself not using my green tinted primer or full-coverage foundation. Instead, I simply tossed on some of my favorite tinted moisturizer and some mascara when I got dressed to go out.

And here's the kicker - the final image, after using the Olay Eyes Ultimate Eye Cream and Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream for four weeks:

I know. I can't believe the difference either. I was skeptical at the beginning of all this, but now I'm a believer. Thanks to the eye cream, I saw a disappearance of the puffy-ness that had become common to me, and the dark under eye circles are significantly diminished. I also loved how smooth and creamy the product was, too. It felt cooling and luxurious when I put it on.

One of the biggest differences I noticed with the face cream was the tone of my skin - it definitely got less red, and feels more toned/tightened than it did before I started using it.

I think my favorite part of the whole thing was how easy it was. Just two products to put on after I washed my face - the Olay Eyes Ultimate Eye Cream morning and evening and the Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream each morning. Less than 1 minute each day, and I have

noticeably different skin.

Honestly, how many things can provide a difference like this in the space of a month? Not many. Between the quality of results achieved and the reasonable price point, you can bet Olay is going to have a permanent place in my skin care regime.
