I think my favorite thing about pregnancy right now is the little fluttering that is Evie moving. The coolest moment this week was when G put his head on my belly to talk to her and little girl started going crazy! It's amazing to think that she's going to be born knowing who we are by the sound of our voices. Girl's getting big, too! She's the size of an artichoke, and I can definitely feel the aches and cramps and itching that come with her growing so much!
WHAT I'M FEELING:
Tired, achy, and itchy, but other than that, pretty positive. My craziest pregnancy symptoms don't start until around 7:30/8:00 PM, so I usually just plan on winding down and going to sleep before my crazy alter-ego shows up! I'm also having a LOT of fun wearing maternity pants and leggings now that my bump fills them out (they're seriously so comfortable it almost feels like I'm cheating on "real clothes").
WHAT I'M CRAVING:
Sweets! Which means lots of self control. I let myself eat one sweet treat each day, but other than that, make healthy, fiber and protein packed choices. But you can bet I dream of and savor those few bites of sugar each night.
WHAT I CAN'T STAND:
Anything greasy. It is not sitting well with my tummy these days (sorry pizza! Goodbye, fast food tacos!). Also, anything S-L-O-W that doesn't need to be. My patience is very short, especially since I know I only have a few good hours of on-my-feet productivity each day before my body crashes.
Dr. Scholl's massaging gel insoles. I'm still rocking my favorite heeled boots, and I can wear them without foot cramps thanks to the comfy support. I'm also really loving the Yes to Coconut body lotion with Shea Butter. My bump gets so itchy, especially at night, and this stuff goes on thick and creamy, and smells like a day at the beach.
LOOKING FORWARD TO:
Shooting my December looks with my growing bump! The bigger she gets, the more fun it is to dress, because I'm finally looking pregnant instead of chubby!
