TRAVELING IN STYLE

Plane flights. They're an inevitable part of the holidays for most people, and can easily be a stressful experience. Over the years, I've learned a few tips and tricks for making my flights relaxing, so that when I land, I'm already in vacay mode. So for this #traveltuesday, I've decided to share some of my favorite tips and products with you!

1) DRESS FOR COZY COMFORT

This isn't the time to wear your new stilettos. Instead, opt for comfortable, fashionable, cozy pieces that will allow you to look like an undercover movie-star while feeling like you're lounging on your own sofa. Some of my favorites include these leggings from Express, these t-shirts from Madewell, a good long cardigan, a blanket scarf, and slip-on shoes (booties or designer tennies work great!).

2) BRING HEALTHY SNACKS AND WATER

This is huge! You want to curb those cravings for that $14.99 box of Pringles and M&Ms that the flight attendants bring by before they hit. I personally love to stop at Starbucks to grab a coffee, a big water, and some of my favorite snacks: a fruit and cheese bistro box and these delicious blackberry hibiscus gummy pandas which satisfy my sweet tooth in a much healthier manner.

3) GIVE YOURSELF A MINI-SPA SESH

Instead of wearing makeup when I travel, I take the time to give myself a mini-facial. It's relaxing and so much better for my skin! I always have these cucumber wipes with me when I travel, so I usually give my face a quick cleanse with them before applying these retinol under-eye pads (they're my FAVORITE!). After 15 - 20 min, I remove the pads, massage the remaining gel into my skin, and finish with this hydrating cream from Tula.

4) DO SOMETHING YOU ENJOY THAT TAKES TIME

Watch a whole movie on your iPad. Read for 2 hours. Do Sudoku. Whatever gives you the space to relax, do it instead of getting some work done. If you love napping, this eye mask is amazing! Take some you time so you can hit the ground running when you arrive.

That's it! I hope those tips help your next flight to be amazing! What do you do on flights to relax?
