As I said before, I'm really loving backless options for Fall, especially since Fall in Houston seems to mean weather still in the high 80's and low 90's! This casual backless sweater from SheIn reminded me of the sweaters I had been eyeing at the #Nsale earlier this year, but was a slightly thicker material, which means I'll get even more wear out of it as the Fall finally starts to cool off and transition to Winter.

I was hesitant to work with SheIn, having read horror stories about shipping and poor quality, but I think my girl friend Veronica from Four Threads summed up the tricks to getting a piece you love from companies like them perfectly in this blog post. I followed her tips, and truly love this sweater.

Jeans: similar | Top: c/o SheIn | Shoes: Steve Madden | Bralette: Express | Sunnies: similar
I tucked one of my bralettes from Express underneath. Express has so many cute bralettes all the time right now! I currently own three, and you can bet my collection will expand again in the near future!

Finally, let's chat about my shoes!!! I tried them on 4 times across a period of about 3 weeks before taking the plunge. They're this seasons "It Bootie" silhouette, and I knew I wanted a pair, but it took me a while to decide who to get them from! The first pair I tried was Stuart Weitzman (yes, they were my fav! and no, I couldn't bring myself to spend the $$). From there I tried a pair that I really liked at Zara before wandering in to Steve Madden and finding these gems.

I love how soft they are, and the way they are perfectly snug without being tight. And, as with any pair of Steve Madden shoes, the comfort level is ridiculous. I wore them all day with no break-in period and have no blisters or sore spots to speak of! They run slightly snug, but for me sticking with my standard 6.5 worked great! You might want to go up a 1/2 size if you want to wear them with socks.
